ABOUT MY JOURNEY
My path into the healing arts began in 1989, when a single Reiki session profoundly changed the direction of my life. In 1990, I trained in traditional Usui Reiki, receiving Level I training with Reiki Master Margaret Krum before continuing into apprenticeship and advanced Reiki training with Reiki Master Roxayne Veasey, D.Hom., who became both an important guide in my early healing work and a longtime spiritual mentor.
What began then has become more than three decades devoted to healing, teaching, spiritual practice, and energetic transformation.
Originally trained in English literature and education, I taught high school and college English before fully dedicating my life to healing work. Over time, my studies expanded beyond Reiki into Vedic Healing practices including mantra, meditation, pranayama, sacred ritual, subtle energy work, intuitive healing, clairaudient channeling, cerebrospinal fluid and non-force bodywork approaches, Feng Shui, and sacred space energetics.
My spiritual path was shaped early in life through years of Quaker education, where silent meditation and inner reflection were part of daily practice throughout my childhood and adolescence.
Since 1998, I have spent extensive time in India studying with spiritual teachers and gurus, most notably Guruji Amritapadananda, who conveyed to me esoteric Vedic healing practices including mantra, yantra, pranayama, sacred ritual, subtle energetic teachings, and devotional spiritual practice rooted in the Vedic tradition.
My spiritual path has also included many years spent in the presence of revered spiritual figures including Amma (Mata Amritanandamayi) and Sri Sathya Sai Baba, along with extended periods of sadhana in temples, ashrams, and sacred sites throughout India.
Over the years, I have taught thousands of students through Reiki trainings, healing circles, mantra gatherings, meditation events, temple ceremonies, pilgrimages to India, and spiritual programs. I have also hosted Himalayan yogis and gurus while developing and guiding an active Vedic healing temple devoted to sacred practice, devotion, energetic transformation, and community gathering.
My work blends Reiki, Vedic Healing, intuitive perception, sacred space energetics, and soul pattern clearing to help people release energetic stagnation and reconnect to greater clarity, vitality, alignment, purpose, and spiritual connection.
I believe many people are not truly disconnected from their power — they are instead disconnected from their ability to hear themselves, trust their intuition, and connect deeply with spirit. Much of my work centers around helping people reconnect to that inner guidance so they can move forward with greater clarity in love, purpose, wellbeing, and life direction.
A dedicated bhakti practitioner, I believe deeply in the transformative power of mantra, devotion, sacred space, and daily spiritual practice.
For me, sadhana is medicine, the voice is an instrument of healing, and devotion is a transformative force.
