Reiki at the American Reiki Academy

Reiki Level I is the foundational entry point into Reiki, where the student establishes a personal relationship with Reiki through initiation, study, and direct experience.

Students receive the traditional Reiki Level I initiation, activating the flow of Reiki energy within and the ability to work with the energy which also expands over time. 

Teaching emphasizes Reiki as a practice of healing and awareness, integrated into daily life through presence and practice.

Reiki Level I is appropriate for anyone who is ready to learn Reiki. 

In Reiki Level I, students: 

• Receive the traditional Reiki Level I initiation (comprised of four separate attunements that open the current of Reiki)
   
• Learn how Reiki functions as an energy and a healing practice

• Understand the history of Reiki and how it was brought west
   
• Develop awareness of subtle energies and extrasensory perceptions
   
• Learn self-healing, healing others, and traditional Reiki hand positions
   
• Explore the Reiki principles
   
• Understand the chakra system as it relates to Reiki healing
   

This level emphasizes energetic transmission, inner awareness, and integration over time rather than technique alone.

Reiki Level I Certification included

Reiki Level II deepens the practitioner’s ability to work with Reiki as a healing practice. This level expands the student's capacity to work with energy and introduces the traditional Reiki symbols, allowing healing to be directed across emotional, mental, and energetic layers, including distance healing.

In Reiki Level II, students:

• Receive the traditional Reiki Level II initiation (comprised of two separate attunements)
   
• Learn and work with the sacred Reiki symbols

• Learn energy techniques to increase charisma and personal power
   
• Practice distance Reiki healing
   
• Learn techniques for emotional and mental healing
   
• Develop intuitive and psychic awareness
   
• Deepen their relationship with Reiki as a healing practice
   

Reiki Level II is suited for those who wish to expand with their healing gifts and offer Reiki more fully to others, as well as continue their own personal spiritual development.

Available as private or small-group training

Offered in Los Angeles and online via live instruction
Reiki Level II Certification included

Those who have completed Reiki Levels I and II at the American Reiki Academy — as well as practitioners trained elsewhere — may continue their study through apprenticeship with Alexandra Savithri.

This period allows Reiki practice to deepen before entering Mastership.  Focus is on continued practice, guidance, and clarification that develops through working together over time.

Reiki Level III, also known as Reiki Mastership, is a profound initiation into spiritual leadership, teaching, and sacred service. This level is for those who feel called to deepen their relationship with Reiki, embody its principles, and—if they choose—learn how to teach and initiate others into Reiki.

Students receive the Master-level initiation and learn how to initiate others into all levels of Reiki.

Reiki Mastership represents a maturation of presence, responsibility, and alignment with the Reiki lineage itself.

This level invites a deeper relationship with oneself, with students, and with Reiki energy.

In Reiki Master Training, students: 

• Receive the Master-level initiation and sacred symbol
   
• Learn how to perform Reiki initiations for Levels I, II, and III
   
• Understand the ethical, energetic, and spiritual responsibilities of teaching Reiki
   
• Deepen their connection to the Reiki lineage and its transmission
   
• Refine their capacity to hold space as a teacher and guide
   
• Integrate advanced Reiki practice into personal and professional life
   

This training is shaped in alignment with the individual student’s path. Some complete Mastership to teach Reiki, while others enter it as a deep personal and spiritual initiation.
